Morning for Shanghai
Shanghai, China September 2007

We were presented with a glorious sky on our first morning in Shanghai. This seems an apt image to begin this gallery as the new economic boom in China is spelling a new day for China, and for the world.

What a wonderful welcome to China! Not only does it represent the awakening of a new day, but it also represents the explosive economic awakening of China.

There is a mystical, spiritual sense to this image -- the cloud radiates energy, and the needle-like antenna of the Pearl Orient Tower appears to be drawing from it.

Yes, it does seem appropriate to have this image first. The building point seems to be piercing that cloud, with all the economic growth and opportunity about to explode forth out of it! Very effective!
