Ghostliness Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - September 2007
At first glance this image may seem like a repeat of the first image in this gallery. But I decided to include it because, for me, it creates a haunting mood.
The rhythmic objects that line the foreground buildings act as spectators here, and draw the eye through the crack between them to the misty tower. It is haunting -- I made a similar image (same foreground) as we dodged the raindrops that night, only my building, as well as the sky around it, glowed a grayish brown because of my cloudy white balance selection. (No link, because I did not post it.)
For me it is an icy cold mood. The blue reminds me of a glacier. Great that it is peaking between two shadowed structures! This is a lot different than the first, which is much more like gold.
