At that time Frankie Stein was doing much of the stuff that later became synonymous with Punk: From haircuts and its colouring, wearing a safety pin and going out with Riccardo dressed in later Punk Classics.

This was cut and bleached white and coloured with iridescent yellow CRAZY colour and presented in 1976 at Lancaster Gate Sassoon show. The PR girls hated it but Frankie ran under their legs on stage to a huge roar of approval . It was never photographed except for this pre show shot on 8 mm film. For all accounts this was the first time lines were cut down to the scalp . This is prepunk.
