This bear, not long after this photo was taken, was captured by Fish and Game. It was the same bear they had captured in 2006 and fitted with a gps collar. She was 19 years old and was just over 200 pounds last year, she wasn't weighted in 2007. This year (in 2009) she returned again so is now a 21 year old bear and she is so mellow and nice if a little bit shy. Fun to watch and photograph!
