This could be the national flag of Pedestriana. Bold and emblematic. The elements work so perfectly that it's hard to imagine any better way to do it. Great work. Stefan

Perfect composition and lovely texture,

About inventive mind. This is My problem. I have patented big invention and I don't know how to sell it, or just don't have luck.
Miroslav Kral 06-Oct-2007 10:43
Yes exactly. I like it. Both pictures are excellent and this linked with boy and girl looks more dynamic to Me, but this is only My opinion.

Miro, you have a very inventive mind!
Is this what you mean ? http://www.pbase.com/cgwebster/image/86723990

Great entry, bird of pray sight. Just an idea, imagine, the shadow is in vertical position and zebra stripes diagonal, lot of possibilities around this scene.

I love that giant shadow! Really neat shot Colin! Oh and did I say, great title for it too!

hmmmm with the dots the stripes and pavement could make quite a wonderful abstract all by themselves. MArc hit it right on the head with the shadow making the picture (the pony tail!!) - I'm really glad you left it color - brent

Thanks for the comments
This was taken from the wrap-round balcony of my hotel room on the corner of the 6th floor, one side was right over a narrow street with this crossing at the end. All I had to do was lean over and wait for the right moment, which took numerous attempts at different times of day.
I did think about cloning the black bits, but thought:
1. they were part of texture the scene
2. I'm a Klutz with the clone tool :-)

nice! so simple it becomes complex.

did you think about cloning out some of the dark spots on the white lines? they are not that distracting, but my eye gets sucked into staring at a few of them instead of taking in the image as a whole.

Well done, the shadow makes the picture. Cheers.

Colin, where did you sit / stand / hang to make this picture? And how many people did you see pass by until this very shot was made? It's great!

To my mind, this is an exceptional shot. Wel done Colin !
