Masks! Powerful and frustrating. I learn masks over and over again in new PSP versions, as they change drastically. Where did the rubyliths go? They sure helped show you what was happening with masks.

After fumbling around a lot, I managed to get the hang of masks once again. Here I used a mask file as the source image on a light colored layer that had been texturized. I then merged the various mask layers by hiding the base image. I then beveled and added a drop shadow to make the merged mask layers into a frame.
