The seat slides forward a little less than a foot to give access to the third row bench. The wires come in under and to the front of the amp. This creates a loop, sufficient to allow for the forward travel. Only the rear 1/4th of the amp touches the seat cushion. The front and underside has plenty of freea space for heat dissipation. Compared to many 4 channel amps, this unit is relatively big but has the specs to justify: THD <0.03% and stable down to 2 ohm.
