hey, i found this site because i was researching some of my great-grandparents stories about the fist and second world war.
one of these stories(wich i heard from my grandparents and father) was that my great-grandfather tied a cable accros a road.
later a truck that had planes on it passed the cable and the up-righted wings were caught on the cable.
i was hoping anyone could help me with the "validity" of this story.
i'm from Belgium, and offcourse so were my great-grandparents,
so im asuming the plane(or planes) damaged in the "cable incident" would've belonged to the germans...did they use any type of "foldable wing" airplane?
