From the domes of Sand Flats I gazed into Negro Bill Canyon to examine the delightful scenery. Binoculars enhanced the experience. While scanning a large rock shelf in the canyon (easily reached by hiking up the trail in the canyon) I noticed some bright colors. It was a man and woman, walking on the shelf.
Observing for scientific purposes only, I watched them sit down, remove their clothes, and lie down to soak up all the UVA and UVB rays the Sun could offer. The man is on the left. A prolonged examination of this scene with binoculars did not reveal any activity that merited detailed study.
The naked truth is that the maximum setting (200mm) of my zoom lens was inadequate (size DOESmatter). I apologize to viewers for not having a 1000mm lens on this hike, with which I could have properly documented the scene. This view looks northwest.
