I like this better than the original, the nearest tree give interest and there is the faint hints of a track running into the scene. Miro's suggstion is also interesting. You could play for hours with this one :-)

I don't have a problem w the noise, but that foreground tree is interesting.
I tried a crop including the tree and trimming just above the windows (taking off most of the roof) Can't say it's any better. I think the original crop would work if there was something interesting in that empty foreground... A brightly painted canoe, a highway cone, a stuffed toy... I don't know :o

Shirley! Please try this: make a portrait format. Crop out left side(red boat, wall). On the right side leave only those broken tree. Crop the rest of the forest. Foreground is O.K. Crop the branches above the house like they are on the first image.
That's the way I would make composition of this picture. Maybe not the best way and by the book, but It is how I see it. Thanks for confidence.
