September 17, 2007 - A Cascade on Sandstone Falls

Cool this morning, but sunny today with highs around 80. Still very dry. I started my new job today, so was kind of busy, but had a good day. I decided to post this one that I took this past weekend. Sandstone Falls has so many cascades that you could spend hours on end shooting them. I liked this isolation of a single cascade.

The quick exposure makes this shot. I like the rushing water as opposed to the silky look that a long shutter time provides.
