OK, worked late today, didn't get a chance to play with the 40D as much.
Took a shot of my son (he broke his gaze from the TV for a moment or two).
Through the LCD this looked a bit clearer. It looks like I had the focus a bit in front of his eyes (perhaps his nose)?
I did resize, unsharp mask (140%) and increased the blue in his eyes.
This is the jpg from the camera (shooting Raw + Medium fine jpg). Picture Style of Normal.
