It’s been a while since I was in Rocky Mountain National Park so I crawled out of bed before 5:00 AM and arrived just before sunrise. The sound and smells were refreshing and good for both body and soul. I stopped in Estes Park on the way back to town and encountered a couple of does with three fawns along the river. Most fawns are born with their fur covered with white spots, though they lose their spots once they get older.
