My Coyne Reflections in Sweet Ann & Dear Henry's Tyrconnell :):):)

Fall Freedom Forever Family Forest

During my recent road trip in Ontario, I arrived in Tyrconnell on a magical sunny Saturday. Fierce storms the night before left me in a mystical web of inspiration as I drove down Coyne Road. I deeply felt the kindly spirits of our loving inn-keepers of heart, Sweet Ann Gardiner and Dear Henry Coyne. Torrents of rain lashed at me as I stood at the location of Coyne's American Hotel. I was drenched in ancestral awe to say the least.

Once again, my beloved Pop Ireland's rich stories of his cherished mom, Hannah Ida Harriet Coyne, came to life. Shivers ran down my spine as I was suddenly transported back in time. I heard my Sweet Great-grandmother Ann inviting me for a fireside chat, followed by a dreamy slumber in our family manor. I accepted without reservation! Dear Henry was thrilled to share his stories as well!

I drifted to St. Peter's Anglican Church and Cemetery making my way around old family haunts. Tears flowed from my Irish eyes as I paused at the graves of Ann and Henry. I immersed myself in Ian Gallagher's song "Belfast" as I had a spirited conversation with my treasured Coyne greats.

After creating photographs, I decided to hike through nearby John E. Pearce Provincial Park at the shore of Lake Erie. Suddenly, cool winds surrounded me as I thought of how Mary, James, John, Elizabeth, Thomas, William, Isaac, and Ann were surrounded by delightFULL care of their devoted parents, Sweet Ann and Dear Henry. I smiled with pure glee imagining the laughter of eight eclectic Coyne children as I found this majestic tree.

As evening was quickly approaching, I made my way back to Coyne Road for more awesome surprises...

As my dear mom & beloved Pop Ireland always shared, "You'll Never Walk Alone!"

All my best to each of you Coyne great-grandchildren, John :):):)

John Charles Williams Ireland

one day I'll meet Sweet Ann and Dear Henry in their "Belfast" listening as Ian Gallagher shares his amazing song...

of all the places I have been
there's only one that fills my dreams
the place that lingers in my mind
is the town I've left behind

I've been away now
for too many years
I've read all the papers
they've told of your tears

though I've left you
with a heart that's been torn
I'm coming home now
to the place I was born

that's Belfast
you call to me
when I am far away
I think of thee

your Black Mountain
Cave Hill, City Hall
Shaw's Bridge, River Lagan
I'm going home to them all

I'll meet friends and relations
each one I'll embrace
we'll pass round the pictures
which time can't erase

and it won't be long now
till I see them all
then I'll walk round the old streets
and good times I'll recall

in Belfast
you call to me
when I am far away
I think of thee

your Black Mountain
Cave Hill, City Hall
Shaw's Bridge, River Lagan
I'm going home to them all
