Great composition and bang on theme. I guess all boys love to climb trees. Last time I tried the kids told me to get down before I got stuck :-) One small criticism; image appear just a tad too dark, but maybe thats just me.

We used to have a large oak in our back yard - I remember that feeling of really being up there - giddy and a little afraid at the same time. I used to climb trees well into my 30's until my belly started to be too big :-) Really a great shot there Alistair! brent

If I only have a $1 for every tree and branch I climbed on. Who knows what happened to this tree to get this hole through the body. Nice catch.

Yup, we had a club when we were young that climbed trees and roofs (mostly schools and churches) A bit of nice tension in this shot. charlie
