Passing Feet, by Alistair

The grave of Kathleen Kennedy at Edensor. She was the daughter of Joe Kennedy and married William Cavendish in 1944. He was shortly to die in the war, and she not so long afterwards in a plane crash.

There's also just in front a stone commemorating a visit to his sister's grave by John F Kennedy in June 1963, just five months before he died (pic in originals gallery).

When all is said and done, we all travel the same passage.

(BTW my wife is fascinated by the Kenndy's!)

Maybe a little too sombre for me, but an interesting interpretation of the theme and a very nice b&w conversion.

I can see why your wife finds the Kennedys interesting to follow. They seem to have had a lot of tragic events in their lives. I guess they are as close to Royalty we have ever had in the USA. I think you did a splendid job with the photograph too. I like that dark musty feel you get.

Excellent photo and the context is rather interesting. Hmmmm.......the Kennedy's are an extremely misunderstood family when it comes to politics...... but don't tell your wife I said that!!

Very good conversion, with your trademark dark tones. Nice interpretation too !
