The overcast skies clear long enough for us to view the summit of the range we had climbed in our Pinzgauer vehicle. Unfortunately it didn't clear to the south where we could have seen down to the coast from 6000 feet. Nevertheless, it was still a beautiful landscape in spite of its desolation.
