After many long hours of driving and persistent rains, we decided to stop in Kenora at a place called the Tower Motor Hotel. It was third on a list of places we were advised not to go to by the Super8 staff (we decided to ask them what was the cheapest place in town). The main motel we were advised to avoid was Dougies, or something like that. There were really skinny but angry looking dudes smoking cigarettes on overturned paint buckets in front of that place.
