Bob, Thanks for sharing your memory. This car has at least as many memories for me. We bought it the fall of 1971. All 4 of our kids learned to drive stick shift on it, and 3 of them had it in their weddings.

In the late 40's, my dad bought a '37 Studebaker Dictator 4dr with the suicide doors. There were 3 of us kids at the time, all around 3 to five years old. We lived in northeast Seattle, WA back then. Dad and Mom drove that faded light green car with the mohair interior until Dad sold it in early 1953. I remember it well.
