When I think of Kenya, I always think of the Masai Mara, my favorite place because of the lions.
This big black maned beauty is the perfect example that you always wait to see.
I was not disappointed on this trip!

We saw and photographed this fellow (complete with his battle scars) very close to our van on our last afternoon.
It made the perfect ending to the perfect safari !
