One afternoon we followed a lone lioness who had been separated from her pride.
After a long trek, when she was moaning and calling for her family, they were reunited as we see here.
Finally about a dozen lions came out from the brush and were all over her, licking and pawing her with great joy.
It was one of the highlights of any safari to see this expression of love and happiness in the animal kingdom !
