This photo is for my “Bud” Jarrod. We were hanging around the parking lot at work, … well, … he was hanging around and I was smoking a cigarette, (what I call a breathing treatment), and the discussion turned to photography. I was trying to explain the insanely crystal clear images that my Canon L Series 70 – 200mm Lens produces and I decided to put this image up on my P-Base site that was taken on June 9th of this year to actually SHOW him how clear they were. The image on the left is exactly how it came out of the camera with no cropping, and was taken on the lens that came with my Camera, a 28 to 80mm Zoom lens. It’s slightly zoomed in, (maybe about 40mm) to show pretty much what the human eyes sees of the landscape from my 33rd floor of the hotel we were staying at in Las Vegas. I then popped the 200mm Zoom lens on and took the same photograph focusing on a pretty little red-haired woman. Even with the image radically cropped to pull her in, you can still count the stripes on her bathing suit! This brings a whole new meaning to the phrase Candid Shot”!
