I had the most exciting photoshoot today! After nearly running over this beautiful model, I decided the most polite thing to do would be to offer her a photo session, free of charge. She was eager to see what I could do with the large black thing I was pointing in her face. She let out a few squawks, but unfortunately, I don't speak bird. It's those darn language barriers again. Grrr..
The photo session started out in our front yard, and moved to the side yard, and eventually to the Tea Olive tree in our back garden, errr, ummm, I mean, her runway.
She stayed awhile, and endulged my eagerness to capture her true personallity. She worked the camera as only a high fashion model could. Turning her head from side to side, and giving me her best pouty face. She is certainly a natural infront of the camera, and didn't have a hard time posing. She even winked a few times. Then it was off to her next appointment, that most apparently was in the large oak tree just steps from our backdoor. She left before I could get a model release... hopefully she won't mind if I post her portrait on the internet.
P.S...Please don't say anything about her beak, she is a little self conscience of it. I tried to assure her that it adds character. I thought about photoshopping it out, you know, to make her more perfect, since she is a mockingbird. Oh well, it's the imperfections of us all that make us unique, so I left it. Wonder who she got that from, Mom or Dad???
