So, I'm very happy with this image. I went to a neo-hippie event called the Portland Fire Jam where people did everything imaginable with bits of fire -- fire eating, fire skip-roaping, fire juggling, fire twirling, etc, etc.
Right after I started taking pictures, though, my battery died, and, the bane of all photographers, I left behind the bag with my battery backups.
I did, though, give thought to how I wanted my pictures to progressively come across, and this, the only picture that came out right, shows some of my vision: you will note that in the background is a cityscape, the aim of my exposure settings (three seconds exposure); in the foreground are at least two or three "fire dancers" expressing themselves! I like this pic!
