Demobbed from the RAF 1957

Out after 2 years National Service. What a TOTAL waste of time and money. Many years later I read the books of Correlli Barnett on the British state in the 40's, 50's and 60's. I don't recommend them to anyone over 55, they will send you into the streets looking for people to hang from the nearest lamppost.

Sounds like Correlli Barnett would give someone a new perspective. Some writers can do that. Nice photo, though, even though the whole thing was a waste of time. I didn't go into the military till 11 years later.
