This unique Detroit recycling center serves hundreds of thousands of youngsters every year. Not only do they take the Arts Scraps Mobile around to schools, day care centers, day camps, churches and community centers, but they put on arts & crafts programs open to the public at the center on Detroit's east side. With all of that, Arts & Scraps is perhaps best known by local children for its policy of allowing each child to fill one paper bag with their choice of materials from hundreds of bins, shelves and buckets at their store. That's what this dad had brought his kids to do today.
