If you climb up the river here , you can see the river ahead or behind you 7 miles. Outlaws used this to their advantage when being chased. Not far from here is a place called " The Maze" where outlaws knew the way through and the " Tin Badges" of the day didn't. Lots of history of Horse Rustlers in this area.....
