Despite the crowds, it is real wilderness out there. The mountain lion signs were a bit unnerving, as well as the pamphlets they hand out to visitors warning them of "problem mountain lions," which apparently have taken to hunting in daylight and stalking humans. The distant sign warns simultaneously of fire hazard and flash flood danger. A beautiful, though dangerous, park.
