August 2, 2007 - Spiderwort

Extremely hot with temps in the 90's and high humidity. With this post I begin my second round with a PAD, but only when I can. I love the beauty of these flowers, but have found them to be difficult to photograph for some reason. This one is not my best work, but was adequate I thought.

Great shot Rich! Because they seem to be a favorite for many bees in the early morning, I shoot a lot of macros of these myself. I never knew the name of them - thanks for telling us. V
