Impatiens glandulifera (Indisches Springkraut, Reuzenbalsamie)

This plant is comes originally from Asia (India, Tibet) but since the beginning of last century spread all over Europe. The violet flowers can be easily recognized.
This place near Herdecke on the RW walkingway has a remarkably
large number of these tall flowers.
The flowers get open rapidly if touched slightly. This mechanism allows
spreading the seed.
