For me and Larry Lew the adventure began in San Jose. We flew a C172 to Santa Monica
to be the first crew members on our yacht, the Hunter 'Pacific Shine.' Low level stratus
clouds have obscured most of the shoreline, but the Stratus ended in the vicinity of Oxnard.
