Flight Simulator
by

The simulator is "X-Plane" (by Laminar Research). This was shot right after taking off from San Bernardino International Airport.
The joystick was shot separately and the images were blended in Photoshop.
We never get too old to play, do we?

Thanks for the comment Dale. I don't think I could call it a hobby actually but I do enjoy most any flight simulator. My son is Chief Pilot for Western Airways in Sugar Land, Texas. He taught me the navigation part of flying a few years back and I really enjoy using that knowledge in X-Plane. It's fun navigating through bad weather when you can't see a thing! What I really like about a simulator is that when I crash, it don't even hurt :-)

What a great idea, Bottles. Do you partake of the the virtual flying hobby? My grandson loved it and is now training to be an F18 pilot in the Navy. Dale

Very cool composition - I like the way the joystick is positioned in the foreground, and the flight simulator scene really looks 3-dimensional!
