ADULT MALE SIAMANG (Hylobates syndactylus)

NZ

Siamangs, the largest of the gibbons, are found in the mountains of the Malay Peninsula, and Sumatra in rain forests and monsoon forests. They are diurnal (active in the daytime) and arboreal (tree-dwelling). When on the ground, they are generally bipedal (walk upright on two appendages), balancing with their long arms.
