> National dance in the Philippine Islands. The dancers dance in between 2 large bamboo rods... to the beat of the music. If the dancers are not in sync, the feet and ankles will suffer the wrath of the bamboo.

i love this dance i did it for a project in gym class you do have to practice alot but oncwe you get it it is really funny out of this worl

Yup! And this should be the National Dance of the Philippines! Not the Cariñosa, which is by its name alone, not so Filipino. MABUHAY!

This is exactly how i felt yesterday.....on my birthday once i was able to recollect from the surprise of my life... What a wonderful dance, and it has a name!
