One Planet

Beckhampton, Wiltshire

A wet hay-time up on the Wiltshire downs!

The flooded haymaking in England seems such a contrast to the Australian drought!

1/200s f/5.0 at 70.0mm iso250 full exif

If there was any green here it has been bitten off with frosts & snow...if only we could bottle some of that water !!

It's a great image John, it's just not so great what's happening to our weather these days...

Love how the sun is catching all the hayrolls up on the hillside.

What an amazing shot, this is so beautiful yet so sad, those rolling hills would have made the perfect shot had the flooding not been there!
It is a crazy planet!

Wonderful picture John - beautiful lighting. I feel sorry for the poor farmers who have to cope with this.

All this flooding is awful for those people who've lost their homes & possessions... but this is still a beautiful scene - great reflections!

What a dreadful day you've had in England yesterday. This records it very well.

That is a depressing sight, I know it's only straw but it is also someones livelihood.
