This is the first trillium flower that I had ever seen. I've seen a lot of the plants, but they tend to bloom before we normally travel north. This particular example wasn't in a place that made for easy photography. I had climbed up a somewhat steep hillside and I was contorted trying to get the shot. It didn't come out great, but I wanted to share it anyway since it's my first one.
