Peggy and Walter Midener had one child whom they named Wendy after the character in "Peter Pan." And Wendy has more than lived up to her name! She is a world-respected maker of dolls, one of which was Yoda in George Lucas's film "The Empire Strikes Back." Wendy also worked with Jim Henson of the Muppets, and added her creative genius to the films "The Dark Crystal" and "Labyrinth." At that time she met and later married Brian Froud, the famous writer/illustrator of the book "Faeries." They have lived in a 15th century cottage in Devon, England for 25 years. It was there that their son Toby was born and raised. Toby is also an artist in many media, including painting, puppeteering, directing and filmmaking.
