Moore River Guilderton

One hours drive from Perth.
In 1931, 40 17th-century silver guilder coins were found in the sandhills near the entrance to the Moore River - thus the name Guilderton. The coins were thought to be from the wreck of the Dutch ship, the Vergulde Draeck (Gilt Dragon) that had foundered on a reef north of the river-mouth in 1656.

Love the contrasting blue of the water against the blue of the sky. And what a great expanse too. Interesting history.

Lovely place and you've made such a perfect composition of it. The reddish colour too on the bottom right corner looks so beautiful. :) Gmv.
