The Schmidt Sample Room was the site of one of Carry Nation's hatchet episodes on July 18, 1902. Beside her prohibition crusade, Carry also crusaded against smoking and for woman's rights and suffrage.
I've been walking by this place for 25 years. Some day I might peek in.
