The largest building to the left is The Anglican Cathedral, it's the largest Anglican Cathedral in the world and the fifth largest of any Cathedral, a visit is recommended. The Wigwam shaped building just right of centre is The Catholic Cathedral. The wind turbines on the left would be off the end of The Wirral which is the peninsula of land facing the Liverpool waterfront separated by The River Mersey.
Just on the water's edge just left of centre is the John Lennon (Liverpool) Airport.
The two sharp points to the left of the Anglican Cathedral are the famous Liver Buildings alongside the Dock Road and at sea level. This would be the point where the majority of emigrants would have left from during the 1800's for a new life in America, of 5.5 million emigrants from 1860 to 1900, something like 5 million would have sailed from Liverpool which was THE major port trading with the US at that time.
In total something like 9 million people sailed from Liverpool for the Americas.
