IMG_0305 Best I could get...

had to finally take out the Canon A610 and make a video. http://isabelcutler.com/AttackoftheOrangeThings.html These guys are constant motion. No chance to focus or stop their rapid wings. Do you know what they are? I've never seen them before - and they arrived in a large quantity. Yech! You could hear the beating of their wings.

Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi
1/200s f/2.8 at 90.0mm iso1600 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

Very scary. I just hope they don't migrate to Canada.

I've never seen them before, but maybe Gary's right and they're moths.

I believe they are moths. Many moths pupate in the ground so maybe a hatch was going on.
