Wiktoria Dulanowicz, my grandmother's older sister. Photo taken in 1929 in Lvov.
She died from pneumonia in 1933, at the age 27, leaving her only son Zygmunt, age 2, who then was taken and raised by my grandma together with her own 4 children.
In 1945, soon before leaving Lvov with the family, he vanished from the hospital, where he was staying due to some infectious disease.
After the II WW our family took many efforts to find him through the International Red Cross and other organizations, but without success.
We never got any sign of him. Sad story.
