I was trying to photograph this Kestrel as it was hovering and the sunlight was creating a nice rainbow of color through it wings, but just as I framed it the Kestrel shot straight down out of my view finder. I barely managed to re-acquire it and snap this one frame before it disappeared into the grass! Shortly afterwards a couple Blackbirds chased the Kestrel out of the area.
