I bought my first studio flash lights today. (very basic mono-lights)

And I don't remember the last time I was quite so frustrated...
It took awhile just to set both flashes to fire with the camera,
then some desperate reading about flash sync speeds to figure out why
the bottom half of my pictures were totally black. (oops.)

This was the best of the lot, which leaves me a lot of room for improvement. ;-)

... At least I had a patient model.
