Pepper With Ground Beef, Cuzco

Tabernero is the most popular Peruvian brand, and I should note that this mixture of Malbec and Merlot grapes deserves very good look. Though by no means a match for Italian wines, it is still far better than similarly priced contenders from Chile and Argentina. It is medium body, very dry wine with bouquet reminiscent rasberries and cherries while having wonderful nose with strong hints of oak and wild roses. That day it went exceptionally well with roasted pepper stuffed with ground beef and backed in phyllo pastry, holy macaroni !

As so-called artist, or pretending to be, I always strive for perfection , especially considering ongoing monitoring and auditing by merciless mentors of mine, LOL... I have to admit that your all assumptions were absolutelty correct, and the "D-" mark granted was well deserved... So, no excuses here for mediocre perfomance, the only thing I might suggest is that Peruvian wine played profound role in "smoke in the mirrors" effect which blinded my mind and led to such a failure... Needless to mention that after the whole day of jumping in mountains like a longhorn sheep, I forgot to adjust my drinking habits to high altitude and the result is obvious, humiliation in front of all civilized world... Don't you love my English as forth language, LOL ?!

Hello Eldar. Not every photo you post can be your best.... I am quite sorry to tell you that. And this photo, though of reasonalby good quality, is NOT your best. Focus is a little soft and composition, is not your usual perfection. However, there is an explanation. You have not yet tasted your main course, and your wine bottle is more than 2/3 empty. Holy smokes... it looks like you were taking these photos, having drank the Peruvian wine, on an empty stomach. It is amazing you were able to take the picture at all. Hope the wine was worth it .. the bottle was certainly attractive. A votre sante. Michael.
