I created this collage to honor my father who as a very young man served as a sailor in WW1. He later became a fireman in Columbus, Ohio. He passed away in 1968 but he lived his life as a hero and always will be remembered as one to myself, my family and thoes who knew him.

This version was done in Painter without any actual brush painting, the following version was painted using auto paint and various brushes. I actually like this version best for its realism.
