My Great Grandfather ~ George Alder

Born 1832..Died 13th Jan 1906..Kings Stanley, Gloucestershire, England.

George my GREAT Grandfather had 13 children, one being my grandfather Charles ,
he left England in 1906 to make a new life here in New Zealand.

When I was a small child my Grandfather Charles would often
show me this photo of his father George
and I loved seeing it, and hearing about the stories he would tell,
I remember asking
him that when he died could I have this please grandad,
and I received this when I was 15 years old.
Ive kept it in the old original frame below,
and it means the world to me.

Ive been to England and found his grave, it felt very special to me.
