These unusual looking buildings belong to Hilton Auckland Auckland’s contemporary boutique hotel 300 meters out to sea on Princes Wharf. It is a welcoming haven with an easy walk to Auckland's bustling CBD . Since its construction in 1921, Prince’s Wharf has been used for cargo handling, as a landing point for immigrants arriving in New Zealand, and as a departure zone for troops during World War II, before falling into disrepair in the 1970s.
