The paddock area at Delaware Park is really a lovely setting , flowers and mature shade trees.
The horses parade around prior to the race so the spectators can see the horses first hand if they desire.
The number 5 is Deadline with Jockey Calixto Juarez in the saddle .
My daugher and her husband in the orange hat which I could not sqeeze in are part owners of this lovely race horse.
Tim in the striped shirt owns the other half of Deadline.
There horses are based at Pimlico Race track Maryland .
Krissy husband Joe ,orange hat is the trainer for there stable and Krissy is partner and exercise rider for her stable of horses and other stables at the track.
As you can see , horses are beautiful animals but must be photograped at the right moment.


I went to the Delaware Park yesterday and was adjusting camera settings and was stopped and told I could not bring a camera into the race track with out permission from the CEO of the Delaware Park for security reasons.
I was shocked ,for they will take your money without question.
I guess I will be arrested in the near future if I can not get permission to photograph the lovely horses and colorful jockeys.
