Took a drive up Island today and stopped at Willow Point to take this photo.
Anchor from the American Schooner Thomas Woodward. Circa 1840. This ship foundered off Shelter Point just south of Campbell River, North Island. November 25th 1868.

What an awesome shot, Jess! The composition and the gull and the rusty anchor....just a great shot all around. I love the ocean and mountains in the background. Perfect perspective!
